What a fantastic evening at the BBC Food & Farming Awards! 🌱

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending this year's awards, celebrating the amazing people and businesses behind the UK's food and farming industry.

Our team was also busy sampling some Mash Direct favourites with guests at the event, and we even managed to grab a photo with BBC Countryfile's Adam Henson!

A huge congratulations to all the winners and finalists. It was a brilliant evening celebrating everything that makes our food and farming industry so special! 💚

Happy Retirement Brendan! 🎉

After 17 fantastic years with Mash Direct, we said a fond farewell to Brendan Hyland, our National Account Manager for Ireland, on Friday as he heads off to enjoy his well-deserved retirement!

Throughout his time with us, Brendan has been a valued member of the team, building strong relationships with our retail partners across Ireland and making a lasting contribution to Mash Direct.

We want to say a huge thank you to Brendan for his dedication, loyalty and friendship over the past 17 years.

Looking for an easy way to elevate your side dishes? This creamy cabbage and leek recipe is the perfect addition to a Sunday roast or a simple midweek tea!

Made even easier with our Green Cabbage, it’s a delicious, comforting side dish with minimal prep!

Here’s how we made it👇

Simply sauté your Mash Direct Green Cabbage and sliced leeks in a little butter until softened, then stir in:
🥄 1 tbsp plain flour 🥄 1 tsp Dijon mustard 🥣 200ml chicken stock 🥛 120ml single cream 🧂 Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Stir everything together and simmer until you have a deliciously creamy sauce
