Exciting news

Your local village newsagents/post office is going to be undertaking a shop refit. This will involve a complete face lift. The work will commence February 20th and will hopefully be completed in 10 days. Sadly this means our doors will have to be closed temporarily. We understand this will cause a some disruption but Burgess stores will be operating on longer hours to try to minimize the disruption.

The post office will not operate during this period.

We would appreciate your cooperation with your parcels that are sent into the shop. There will be no more collection of parcels after the 18th of February and they will be sent back.
So please don't order in any parcels to the Goudhurst post office leading up to this date.
