AND JUST LIKE THAT… THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ARE OVER!

Well, what a week it’s been at East Runton Butchery! Busy, busy, busy — plenty of lovely customers, plenty of meat flying off the counter, and just enough time to remember what day of the week it actually is!

But sadly, we’ve also had to say goodbye to our Little Boss Lady as she heads off for pastures new… YEAR 2!

She has spent the summer keeping a very close eye on operations, supervising the staff, taking the occasional well-earned break, and generally making sure everyone knew who was really in charge. 👀😂

We’re not entirely sure how the butchery will cope without her running the show… although we’re hoping productivity might increase slightly!

Good luck, Little Boss Lady — go smash Year 2! We’ll miss having you around.

Now… back to business!

Definitely ready for the weekend!

We have scrubbed the blocks, hung away the cleavers and dropped the blinds! The display cabinet is clean and ready for next week. The cold room is locked up tight, and the hard work is officially done.

Celebrating with a cuppa and debrief with the boss lady, who's been covering for a staff member's well deserved, holiday. She took to it, like a duck to water, like she'd never been away.

Happy Tuesday I think?

The weeks are all mixing into one at the moment, we are keeping nice and busy in the shop, hence this being posted later than planned . But we will always find time to make sure the boss is awake. Nothing like a little jump scare on a Saturday afternoon, to get you ready for the weekend 😂

Bank holiday weekend on the way, we are set for another full on week!
