This week we’ve been donated a couple of items which we feel probably need a bit of “TLC” to really bring up to scratch. Firstly this little wooden shelf unit. Would look good with a wax paint finish. Very reasonably priced.
Secondly there is this box. With side handles and good catches it would be a good memory box or a hobby/craft box, very low price.

Are you wondering what's new in our book hub? Let me tell you something about this week's highlights. We have several books about John Buchan, famous novelist and historian: both biographies and his own work. More books about Scotland from the Covenanters to the life of 2 Scottish saints. A fascinating true story set in ancient China and a rare vintage children's book.
Some books may seem expensive but the prices reflect their value on the second hand market and are usually much lower than what you'd pay online. So come and have a look...you won't be disappointed 🙂
