Could you be the next member of our award-winning team?
Due to continued success, we’re looking for a friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join the team at Alderson Butchers, Cockerton.
Hours:
📅 Tuesday to Saturday
🕣 8:30am – 3:00pm
To start week commencing 24th August.
This isn’t a job for someone who likes standing around! Our shop is fast-paced, busy and customer-focused, so we’re looking for someone with a fantastic work ethic who’s happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in every day.
What you’ll be doing:
• Serving our wonderful customers with a smile.
• Preparing sandwich fillings and fresh salads.
• Keeping our displays looking full, fresh and inviting.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the shop.
• Working alongside our friendly team to keep everything running smoothly.
What we’re looking for:
✅ A positive, can-do attitude.
✅ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
✅ Someone who enjoys working as part of a team.
✅ A willingness to cover extra hours during holidays and staff sickness when needed.
✅ Previous experience in a busy retail or food environment would be an advantage, but it’s not essential as full in-house training will be provided.
