Pumpkins galore! 🎃

Our pumpkins have ripened well and we have a selection displayed outside the front of the shop already. We grow a wide variety of pumpkins every year - perfect for decoration, carving and eating!

Our pumpkin patch will be open everyday in October from 10am - 4pm for PYO 🎃 (it might even be open for the last weekend in September too 😉)

Today is the NFU’s annual Back British Farming Day - a day to celebrate British food & farming 🚜

Launched 10 years ago, the day gives an opportunity for politicians and the public to show support for farmers and growers.

We are proud to be a working farm here at Algy’s, with the farm at the centre of everything we do. While it may be a bit behind the scenes, the farm work goes on every single day, working to produce arable crops year on year.

We have long been working the land here in Bintree, with the last photo an image of Algy’s father Brian driving the tractor age just 15.

Friday night pizza update 🍕

This Friday will be the last eat-in service in the cafe, from September pizzas will return to takeaway only. The shop will remain open in the evening, so, weather permitting, feel free to buy drinks and enjoy outside 🌞

Pizza service will remain 5:30-8pm, pre-orders available by calling the farm shop on 01362 683893.

A pumpkin update from Algy 🎃

The pumpkins we planted earlier in the summer are doing well and are looking good for October! Although they still have plenty of growing to do, you can already identify the different varieties!
