THATS A WRAP!!
WERE OFFICIALLY DONE AND READY FOR NEW BEGINNINGS.
🔪BUTCHERY….COMPLETED IT MATE!

Started at the bottom 20 years ago and worked my way up to having a go at running my own shop.
I’d like to thank each and everyone of you , whether you shopped with us every day or even if you’ve only been in a few times .
I’m extremely grateful for your custom over the years.
I’ve met some wonderful people along the way and it’s been a fun journey but now it’s time for a change.
Being a local lad I’ve loved being back part of the village and me and my team all Thankyou for welcoming us with open arms.
We hope you’ve enjoyed coming in for your breakfast, dinners, teas or just a chat.

My staff have been amazing , it’s been a laugh from start to finish and I know they’ll succeed in their new jobs with ease.

Special mention to Boyd Makepeace who took a chance on me at 16 and taught me everything I know about the trade, I would’ve never got this far without him and even now would help me out if I needed him so Thankyou .

Im still local ish so im sure I’ll see some of you pottering about 😊

I’d just like to say a big Thankyou for all the well wishes we received.
It is what it is and we push on now so let’s make these last 2 weeks a cracking end to our reign.
Back open tomorrow from 8am , may be short on a few bits and bobs until deliveries arrive with it being our first day back since Xmas but we’ll do our best to fix you up 😊👍🏻

Hope everyone has had a lovely Xmas and new year and we look forward to seeing you from tomorrow 🐮

As many of you may have already heard, it is with great sadness I must announce that we will be closing our doors for good at the end of the day on Saturday 17th January.
With my lease coming to an end I’ve made the decision not to sign for another 5 years with the economy the way it is and no clarification on it getting any better.
Constant price rises on overheads and meat have made the last 18months challenging and I’ll be perfectly honest , I’ve fallen out of love with the job because of these challenges.
It’s a shame it’s come to this considering how well we have done since the start but it’s starting to look like I’m fighting a loosing battle so it’s time for a new challenge .

Being a local Earlsheaton lad throughout my youth and a butcher for the last 20 years I’m so pleased I’ve had the opportunity to serve the community for the last 5 years in Earlsheaton . It’s been a pleasure and a privilege.
I’d like to thank everyone , customers & businesses, past or present who have shopped with us over the years .
Your support is much appreciated .
There’s been births, deaths, weddings, fires, you name it !! There’s always been something going on around here, it’s like a bloody soap opera but I wouldn’t change it 😂

I’d also like to thank my staff , who the majority have been here with me since the start and have been vital cogs in our well oiled machine and for that I’m extremely grateful.

We’re back open on the 5th and trading for 2 weeks until the 17th . Hopefully we’ll see a few of you in for some bits and bobs and so I can say goodbye in person .

So tomorrow is the first of the 2 day Xmas collection madness 🤯
Few points to get across…

💥Please be patient with our staff, they’ve worked long hours under a lot of pressure and we’ll do our very best to get you in and out as quickly as possible (I know it’s a busy time for everyone)

💥If you have your order slip please bring it with you.
If you’ve ordered through Facebook and don’t have an order slip or you’ve lost it , don’t worry it’s fine we have a copy , we’ll find your order, it just speeds it up if you have your own.

💥 We open at 8am tomorrow until 5pm It doesn’t matter what time you get here.

💥There will be no sandwiches or hot food available tomorrow and Wednesday.

💥I’ll try answer answer fb messages and phone calls best we can but be aware we’ll be busy serving most of the morning and I’ll try get back to you when I can .

💥 yes we will have spare stand pies but it’s first come first serve now , we’re not reserving any. When they’re gone they’re gone. I’d advise coming for 8am

💥we also have spare turkey crowns and beef joints .

💥with it being a manic time there could quite possibly be a couple of slip ups , please be aware it’s not on purpose , we’re only human and if we’ve missed something
off your order then we will correct it .

If I don’t get to see you tomorrow when you collect then I wish you all a very merry Christmas and all the best for the new year
