Mr Marshall was a highly respected man in this industry, he went on to judge beasts at fat-stock shows and I Scott Rodwell was taught how to buy live i.e. looking at a beast at auction and assessing the quality, conformation and % of end product against costs. Ben Marshall as he was commonly known gave me the opportunity to purchase the premises in 1996, Ben and I still worked together right up to his passing.
