Happy Sunday 💫

Who can’t resist a slice of cake and a cuppa on a wet, soggy Sunday? 🙋🏼‍♀️

This beauty was made by my lovely friend for our book club meet up over the weekend. She used our sweet & crunchy California walnuts both inside and on top of her coffee & walnut cake. Delicious 👌🏻

Jumping on the 2016 trend, Wilton Wholefoods stylie…. It seemed to involve a lot of baking in our old kitchen ~ bread, cakes, porridge & pancakes!

1 & 2 Our old labels ~ pretty & colourful 🌈

3 & 4 Proud stockists of Stoates flour ~ making pancakes & pizza dough 🍕we still do this today, Saturday pizzas are made using Stoates flour & a sourdough starter gifted by a friend 💫

5 & 6 Porridge oats ~ seemed to eat a lot of this in 2016! I now use our oats to make overnights oats with chia seeds ~ Sol and I eat this most mornings in the office & it’s delicious 🥣

7 A spectacular Christmas cake, made by my mum full of our vine fruit & convered in our nuts & glacé cherries 🌟

Love this trend, my photos (& phone camera!) have improved but we’re still using so many of our products to make our family meals ✨

Baking Sunday ✨

Batch making mince pies on this wet & wild Sunday afternoon 🥧

The mincemeat was made using our Wilton Wholefoods mixed vine fruit, dried sour cherries, sweetened cranberries, chopped mixed peel, flaked almonds and light muscovado sugar (plus veg suet & grated fresh apple & lemon zest). Also added is Wilton Wholefoods mixed spice, ground cinnamon & ground nutmeg 💫
