You may be aware that the A711 at Beeswing is to close from 8am on Thursday 6th August (weekdays) until Friday 14th August for essential roadworks. Where possible, and when safe to do so, the contractors have told us they will allow access to/from Loch Arthur Farm Shop for road users driving from/to Dalbeattie. Access is not available via the A711 from Dumfries, best alternative is via the A710 - Dumfries - New Abbey - Beeswing route.

We are incredibly excited to have the fantastic trio Lady Maisery coming to our hall at Loch Arthur on the 19th of July.

Individually three multi award-winning artists, Lady Maisery form a unified voice, carrying stories of sisterhood, human struggle, the joy of living and the vitality of song with the “freshest possible take on traditional music” (Folk Radio UK). Their long-standing effervescent collaboration has been described as “adventurous and beautiful” (Mark Radcliffe, Radio 2) “exquisite and thrilling” (The Guardian) with “a generosity of spirit and joie de vivre that seems to emanate from every minute of their recorded output as well as from their exuberant live shows” (Folk Radio UK).

SUMMER GIGS 🌿 ☀️ We’re off to play in some gorgeous places this summer and we can’t wait! We’ll be playing some special acoustic gigs in Scotland, the gorgeous Cumberlandia festival in Cumbria, then over to Europe for gigs in Germany and our first ever performance in Norway! It's shaping up to be a lovely week and with Spring Fling starting on Friday we hope to see lots of people enjoying our Cafe garden. We are conveniently located on the Orange Route so please stop by for some much needed refreshments!

We will have a fantastic concert in our hall very soon, on the 29th of May 2026!
Come and enjoy the Bookshop Band, a lovely band from Wigtown with who write all their songs based on books.
Just imagine the amount of reading those two do...
And the music is beautiful and special.

Looking for something to do on a cloudy Bank Holiday? We are open today and on Monday 25th May. Despite the absence of sunshine, we have many customers enjoying our Cafe garden. Let's hope the next Bank Holiday is MUCH warmer!!
