Another panel will be added to the drape that will be displayed again at the War memorial garden across from St Micheals Church.

Tomorrow 22 competitors from QFitness take on an incredible 24 Hour Charity Challenge aiming to lift a massive 1,500,000kg and run 234 miles between 6am Saturday and 6am Sunday! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

We donated water and fruit to help keep everyone fuelled and hydrated throughout the challenge. ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’ง

On Monday I attended a Community Gardening Workshop with other
Local Community groups and organisations.

Hosted by Apache land Community Garden and organised by Dumfries Town Board.
Richard Baines Curator of Logan Botanic Garden shared lots of advice and demonstrated how to plant up our winter planters with bulbs, bedding plants and perennials.

It was of great to be involved in from a community point and in my other roll in plants and flowers.

Dumfries Town Board fancy entering in Dumfries bloom The deadline for entries is Friday 4 September.

Judging will commence w/c 7 September coinciding with Dumfries Shine.

The Paint It Yellow baton has left Dumfries this morning and is now on its way to Stranraer! ๐Ÿš•

After starting its journey in Dunoon the baton has been travelling from Morrisons store to Morrisons store across our region, with each store helping to raise funds for Marie Curie along the way. ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒผ

Yesterday it spent some time proudly sitting on my flower desk in Dumfries! ๐Ÿ’

But now itโ€™s time to keep the relay movingโ€ฆ

And what better way to send it on its way than in Scottโ€™s very own yellow car! ๐Ÿš•

We were delighted to receive the Paint It Yellow baton this morning from Lorraine at our Largs store! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’›

The baton started its journey in Dunoon and is now making its way around our Morrisons region, travelling from store to store and helping to raise funds for Marie Curie along the way. ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒผ

Each store is getting involved and doing its bit to help raise those all-important funds โ€” and now the baton has made its way to Dumfries! ๐Ÿ’›

It even spent the day sitting proudly in front of my desk! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’ Marie Curie bunchโ€™s on sale now only ยฃ8 (gotta get a sales pitch in too๐Ÿคช
