Thanks so much to all visitors to Dumfries Farmers Market yesterday. Despite the threat of tricky weather it was a great day with the pavilion providing warmth and shelter from the wind. Your custom and interest in all our produce is very much appreciated. We're back on Sunday 3rd May 10.30 - 2.30pm. We hope to see you there!!

We had a customer who had lost some hearing aids. They have been found and handed into the station ticket office!! If you know the owner can you please alert them that they have been found.

This coming market is Easter Sunday....which is a lot of things to a lot of people. But we all also think about chocolate....admit it at least a little bit, or a lot.... Get probably the best chocolate in the land from Co Co Company on Sunday at Dumfries Farmers Market 10.30 - 2.30 at the Railway Station

We have a couple of excellent new stallholders for you on Sunday!! Please look out for Threepwood Game Dealers who specialise in wild venison and are attending while Emma has her summer market break. We also have The Dumfriesshire Soap Company a family business who produce beautiful handmade goats milk based soaps.
This Sunday the 5th at Dumfries Railway Station from 10.30 until 2.30pm

Incredibly, we're now about half-way from last season's start of pressing to this year's. When one considers that the trees don't remotely even have a leaf yet it shows how hard they work to get harvestable fruit ripe in time. Good old trees, eh?

Also somewhat surprisingly it's only 3 days until the April iteration of Dumfries Farmers' Market. At which we'll have a couple of new traders, excitingly, and where we, ourselves, Steilhead Cider, will be flaunting all our ciders and our fab new hats and t-shirts for you to show off your cider-lovin' selves in.
