Good morning everybody.

Its that time of the month again! Farmers markets this weekend!

Of course we will be attending both this weekend taking along some very exciting products.

Beef Tomahawk, unleash your inner caveperson and grab one of these prime steaks at a great price! Perfect for barbecues and Sunday dinners that will be to die for.

Or maybe youre wanting a banger that has come from the mind of our favourite wee butcher?

Wild boar and Calabrese 'Nduja sausage. Our take on the rich and complex flavours of the southern Italian region. We highly recommend putting it through pasta or as a topping for a pizza!

And for you seafood lovers; Sashimi grade fresh Tuna! We are lucky to have a nice big piece in, so our butchers are happy to slice you up a chunky steak. Very limited quantities so you better get in quick!

And of course we have some amazing pork on offer too. Full flavour, Pork belly. The ultimate piece for smoker and barbecue connessiers.

Good morning everybody.

Yes we are still open, dont worry!

Not just that but we also have some great offers on in the shop too.

Brisket and short rib both have great deals, if youre looking for something to stick on the barbecue, we highly recommend picking some of these up!

We also have a wide selection of pork products for sticking on the grill.
Pork belly, loin and shoulder all looking perfect for that flame grilled taste.

We also have a nice selection of Artisan bread for sale as well as plenty of free range eggs. As our lovely neighbours are away on holiday this week!

So pop on down to the farm and get everything you could need for the summer barbecue while the weather lasts.

Good morning everybody.

What a sweltering start to the week this week!

Hope you all enjoyed those two days of Scottish summer, cant wait for the sun to come out again next year!

But dont let that stop you from keeping the barbecues out. Because we have plenty of goodies in the shop on offer.

Beef, bangers and burgers galore! As well as a wide selection of pork products to get in your smokers.

Or if you'd rather make it a day out, then you can find us this weekend at the Bruce Festival!

We will have plenty of amazing products that would do perfectly after a nice day out with the family.

You can find Sandor in Pittencrieff Park this weekend (just keep an eye out he's not off sunbathing for us!)

I'm back in the building 😎

I've been given the honorary task of informing all you fantastic lot about what we've got in your favourite butcher shop this week.

Firstly, we are busy busy prepping plenty of stuff for the markets on this week,
As usual you will find us at

home farm market Saturday

And

City Artisan Market on Sunday!

After eating loads of grilled meat for a week straight, it's put us in the mood for a barbecue, hence why we have hundreds of cuts perfect for that.

Pork belly,
Pork collar,
Pork loin,
Pork shoulder (sensing a theme here?)

Beef T-Bone steak (one of my personal favourites 😍)
Beef short rib, ideal for that slow barbecued indulgence.

Sausages this week, I've made two very exciting varieties.

Mild Tandoor Style Venison sausage, very rich in flavour but not very spicy so the whole family can enjoy,

And my take on a takeaway classic, pheasant tikka masala. So good, I've not even got to taste it yet, but everytime I enter the chill, I start salivating slightly.

Calling all seafood lovers!

Kingdom game has some very fresh seafood in today! So fresh that Sandor has been fighting with "Hector" the lobster all morning.

If you're looking for some fresh and exciting things to try this weekend, then now's the time to pop in.

Tiger prawns, oysters, smokies and of course Hector...
All in early from our local supplier today.

Or maybe you're not a seafood fan? Thats fine, because Josh has very kindly made a wide variety of sausages this week to suit all types of palette.

Pork Original for the ones who like to keep it simple.

Pork with Spanish chorizo (would go perfectly with our fresh seafood in a paella, wink wink)

Venison Jalapeño and Maple for a sweet but spicy treat.

Venison Hickory smoked sausage, for a hearty and rich flavour.

And finally, a new kid on the block, Venison and Juniper. A mild and inviting sausage for those who want something that compliments that great Venison flavour.
