As we finally have a proper, working website where you can book your table with us, and it’s much easier to use than our old booking system, we’re going to say goodbye to SumUp bookings. 👋

Don’t worry, there’s no rush! Both booking systems will remain active until the end of September, so you can continue using whichever one you prefer.

From 1st October, SumUp will disappear and all bookings will be made through our website. And if you haven’t visited it yet, have a little look around while you’re there. You might find a few things you didn’t know were there! 😉 Visit now on: www.thespanishnook.com

🎄Christmas might still feel a little way away, but we’re already getting into the festive spirit at The Spanish Nook!

🥂Our Festive Menu is now available to book, running from 1st November until 31st December.

Whether it’s a Christmas get together, work night out, family celebration, or simply an excuse to eat plenty of Spanish food, we’d love to have you!

On Friday, we were surprised with this beautiful card, and honestly, we couldn’t be more grateful. It means more than you might realise. ❤️

When we started The Spanish Nook, we wanted to make it as Spanish as possible. And being Spanish is about more than food, music and traditions. It’s also about how you treat people.

We want our customers to feel like family.

Remember to book your space for The Board Meeting, the only board meeting worth attending! 😂

You’ll be meeting some lesser known Spanish cheeses and meats, and this time… we’re putting the w**e! 😉🍷

We’ll be talking about 4 different meats and 3 cheeses, exploring where they come from, how they’re made and, of course, pairing them with Spanish w**e.

And at the end, you’ll have the chance to buy some of your favourites to take home with you.

We’re hosting the evening in partnership with Eat Spain Drink Spain, a Spanish Government campaign celebrating the incredible food and drink Spain has to offer.

LOOK AT THAT!!! You did it, guys! 🎉

You’ve officially got us over 3K followers! Thank you so, so much! ❤️ We honestly can’t believe how quickly this little community has grown.

It’s been a great week, especially the weekend… WHAT. A. WEEKEND!! 😂

We also want to say a massive thank you for everyone’s patience this week. As you know, our kitchen is tiny. And when I say tiny… do you guys remember PinyPon? Their little house? Yeah… our kitchen was basically designed for them! 😂

On top of that, our lovely Rose left us last week to continue her studies at university. We’re going to miss her loads, but we wish her all the very best for this next chapter. ❤️

So, with Rose leaving and things being particularly busy this week, we’ve been feeling the pressure a wee bit!

Thank you for bearing with us, for being patient when things took a little longer and, most importantly, for continuing to support us.

We’re hoping to find someone suitable to join our little team soon, so fingers crossed! 🤞🇪🇸

🚨 WE’RE HIRING!

The Spanish Nook is looking for a new member to join our team!

We’re looking for someone who:

☕ Has previous experience in hospitality, café or restaurant work
🕘 Can work until at least 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays
💪 Is reliable and genuinely willing to work
😂 Has a good sense of humour, because let’s be honest, you’ll need it with us!
☺️Is friendly, approachable and enjoys being around people
🔥 Can stay calm and work well under pressure

This is a front of house role so your day will involve serving customers, taking orders, preparing and cleaning tables, keeping things running smoothly and, of course, having a good blether with our customers!

We’re a small, busy, independent business, so we’re looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in and become part of the team.

Hours: Weekly hours will vary depending on demand, so flexibility is important. Availability until at least 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays is essential.

Pay: National Minimum Wage, depending on age, with a higher rate for hours worked after 6pm.

Food is provided during your break, because nobody should have to work around tapas without getting to eat some! 😂

The role is based at The Spanish Nook, 10 to 12 New Row, Dunfermline.

What a night!!!! What an amazing night! ❤️

It was so lovely hearing all of you joining in with Danielo, and he had an absolute ball too! 🎶

We are absolutely knackered now, but never mind… it was SO worth it! 😂

Thank you to everyone who came along and made the night so special. We genuinely loved seeing The Spanish Nook full of people enjoying the food, the music and having a good time.

IT’S TIME!!! The new menu is finally out! 🎉

We were planning to publish it earlier today, but thankfully we’ve been too busy and so far, all the feedback has been so positive, which has made us even more excited to finally share it.

No more secrets, no more hiding dishes… you can finally see what we’ve been up to! 🤭

Some dishes are new, some favourites staying put and hopefully a few things that will become your new favourites too.
