We took a visit to Teddy’s Treat Corner today after hearing it had recently opened, and honestly it’s a lovely little addition to the local scene.
From the moment we walked in, it had that proper cosy, independent feel you want from a local cake spot. Everything looked fresh and homemade, with a nice selection on display – not over the top, just good quality bakes done right.
The cakes themselves didn’t disappoint either. You can tell they’re made with care – soft, full of flavour, and not overly sweet like some places. It’s the kind of place you go for a proper treat rather than something mass-produced.
Service was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. It felt like somewhere that actually values its customers, not just another quick stop.
Overall, it’s definitely worth popping into if you’re in the area. Nice to see a new local business doing things properly – we’ll definitely be back to try more.
