The special birthday pie chart has spoken 🎂😁 Don't miss our 21st birthday event tomorrow, 5th September, at Geilsland Estate! 🥳

This special birthday edition will feature 54 indoor stalls, each brimming with unique, high-quality crafts including jewellery, textiles, woodwork, ceramics, art, glasswork, and more. We have more new crafters joining us for the first time and there are food & drink stalls with Ellwoods Pizza outside selling delicious freshly made pizza from their shiny pizza truck from noon 🍕 There's also cake, gin, honey, c***r, Indian street food, rum, and chutney - even your four-legged friends are covered with a fabulous dog bakery. We also have our chatter & natter cafe area in the hall run by Mocha JaK’s, serving a selection of homemade cakes and hot & cold drinks, or you can pop round to their main cafe to enjoy their full menu 11am to 4pm, FREE entry & FREE parking, accessible venue, on-site cafe, and it's all dog friendly too! Looking forward to being back at Geilsland Estate for the Scottish Arts and Crafts Fair this Saturday (5th), to celebrate their 21st. Our honeybees have had an exceptional season and produced some truly stunning honey. We'll bring some very limited Linden(lime) honey, that our Glasgow bees produced this summer, for you all to taste.
Linden trees are like insect towers when they flow with nectar, it doesn't happen often, roughly every 3-4 years.

Beekeepers warn of scarcity as hot weather reduces nectar production

First craft fair back after our summer craft break, so we can focus on the intense part of the beekeeping season. This years extended good weather really made things challenging.
The honey this year is exceptional, linden and phacelia making a big appearance at our apiaries.

Come along and taste our honey at the West End Festival in Edinburgh for the 3D2D Events we are here each day till Sunday 6pm. Many unique arts and crafts right in the heart of Edinburgh.

Looking forward to getting back to our favourite fair.

Good news for all you honey fans, after spending the summer tending to the bees, Glen Heather Honey will be back with us on 5th September at Geilsland Estate with their award winning honey & honey comb from Scotland. We're delighted to welcome Lazy Daisies to our events for the first time on 1st August at Geilsland Estate. Joanne creates beautiful flowers made entirely from pipe cleaners, bringing a fun and colourful twist to traditional floral arrangements. Each flower is individually handmade, creating a lasting alternative to fresh flowers and they make a great gift.

🐝 Our bees are buzzing away beautifully, creating the honey that makes our delicious Ellis Scottish Honey Spiced Rum so special.
