Hi Everyone,
As most of you will recognise me from markets and open events on the farm. I would just like to say that I am no longer at Cools Farm, and have moved to greener pastures, so I no longer have any involvement in the business at Cools.
I would like to thank everyone for their support over the years and to all that have contacted me with your support at this time since leaving, it is much appreciated.

OPEN FARM SUNDAY ANNOUNCEMENT 📣
SUNDAY 9th JUNE

⭐️ - Open Access across the Farm
⭐️ - Q & A Sessions
⭐️ - Farm Shop
⭐️ - Farm Fresh BBQ
Learn where your food comes from & how we do it!


We are Organic and producers, and newly established producers come and see the farm, bring all your questions with you!

Working machine demonstrations will be carried out throughout the day so please feel free to watch the guys out in the fields, please be mindful about where they are driving and the machinery they are using and the dangers they bring.

If you are planing to watch the tractors at work please walk through the fields to see them and not down the lane as there will be tractors on the lanes, so please be safe!

No entry to the bottom yard (has been previously used as parking) PARKING will be in the field opposite the main farm gate, there will be signs and you can access this field via car.

As usual please don’t bring any dogs as there will be livestock on display.

The weather looks good so join us for a BBQ in the farmyard!

Vetch seems to be a firm favourite this spring!
We don’t name our calves by the letter of the year like most herds do, we name all our heifer calves after their mums, Vetch’s mum is called Buttercup.. so we’ve kept to the theme of Wildflowers! (I personally wanted to call her Viper’s-Bugloss but Tom couldn’t fit that on her tag 😆.. maybe we’ll keep that name for her Daughter)

Early start today for the Sunday of our Lambing Open Weekend! - The weather still looks fantastic and is getting hot already!

The Cow-calf dairy is in full swing, we’re milking 15 cows. The idea of the Cow-Calf Dairy is that we milk once a day (early morning) and the cow keeps her responsibility of rearing her own calf.
Our milk will be available to purchase later on in the summer!
