Are you a fan of big, bold flavours? We've got two new additions to the counter this month that might be right up your street.

👉 First up, meet our Hot Chimichurri Melt – a hot and spicy burger coated in Argentinian fire marinade with crispy onions, stuffed with chimichurri sauce. If you like your barbecue with a kick, this one's for you.

👉 And if you're after something a little more summery, our new Mediterranean Chicken is a chicken breast coated in Greek marinade, stuffed with mozzarella, sundried tomatoes and basil. Fresh, vibrant and absolutely packed with flavour.

Both are handmade right here in the shop – pop in and give them a try!

A good marinade can take a great piece of meat and make it even better. 🥩

The key is time. Even a simple mix of olive oil, garlic, lemon and fresh herbs will transform a lamb chop or pork steak if you give it a few hours in the fridge – overnight is even better.

For beef, keep it simple: good meat doesn't need much, just something to complement the flavour rather than mask it.

One golden rule: always bring your meat to room temperature before it goes on the grill. Straight from the fridge onto the heat is one of the most common barbecue mistakes – and one of the easiest to avoid. 👌

It's finally happening. Scotland is getting ready for the Football World Cup – and we thought there was only one way to mark the occasion properly! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ⚽

Here's the tip that makes the biggest difference and gets skipped the most often: Resting your meat after it comes off the grill. 🥩

A few minutes under a loose piece of foil lets the juices redistribute through the meat. So, instead of running onto the plate the moment you cut it, they stay exactly where they should be. The result is juicier, more flavourful meat every time.

It's a small thing, but once you start doing it, you'll never skip it again.
