March veg boxes 🥦🥬🥕 it was so nice today hearing how happy our customers are with what they're getting in their boxes, especially at this time of year. Who knew March in Scotland could be so colourful 😏

Broccoli, chard, tat soi, Pak Choi, salad, kale tops, leeks, swede, carrots!

When we started planning the market garden over a year ago it was really important to us to try and offer as close to a year round veg box as possible (we took 6 weeks off over Christmas), with 100% of the veg being grown by us.

"Organic veg" doesn't mean that no harm was caused to the planet. Farms can still till their land, use sprays and grow monocultures. All of these things deplete the soil rather than nourish it. That is why we aren't interested in buying in field scale vegetables to supplement our boxes. 🙅🏼‍♀️

If you like what you see, check out our website and sign up to our waiting list. If you are near Findhorn, you can buy a selection of our leaves from both The Bakehouse and The Phoenix shop.

The nursery area is bursting with life, so much so, we've had to build an extension outside to house all our trays! There's been a noticeable change in growth rate in the last few weeks, the days are getting longer, the sun is much higher in the sky and we've been lucky with lots of warm sunny days.

Transplants start tomorrow!! 🌱

Well we had a lovely time yesterday when Hannah from came to visit. If you don't know Hannah already, she's wonderfully passionate about food and our health but also about where our food comes from and how it's grown.

We talked all things growing; living pathways, creating poly cultures, w**d "management" as well as the challenges of running a small food business.

We're super excited about Hannah's next adventure with growing food on her own land to go into her fermented food goodies, but in the meantime we've found a great opportunity for some of our food abundance to get utilised in another way.

So watch this space!

Check out for info about their tuck shop Tuesdays where you can get your hands on amazing fermented foods

We're very excited to share that we've got enough salad and greens to sell some via The Bakehouse in Findhorn. We've got our mixed salad, mustard greens and Pak Choi - the last image shows the abundance in the poly tunnel right now 💚

We'll be dropping it off this afternoon whilst doing our delivery round of boxes around Moray.
