📣We have some very personal news to share with our beautiful community…📣
Empty Jars has been so much more than a business to us. It has been part of our everyday lives, part of our story, and part of this wonderful community.
Through this little shop, we have met so many beautiful people. We have built genuine relationships — conversations across the counter, shared moments, familiar faces walking through the door each week. Many of you have become friends. Some of you feel like family.
And now, our own family is growing.
Maddie and I are expecting a baby.
After many heartfelt conversations, we’ve made the decision to look for someone to take over Empty Jars so I, Marino, can spend precious time with Maddie and our baby when they arrive.
The decision felt easy… and incredibly difficult at the same time.
Easy, because family comes first. Because these early days are something I don’t want to miss.
Difficult, because I have poured so much of myself into this shop. So much time, energy, sacrifice, and love. Empty Jars carries a piece of my heart in it.
Our greatest hope is to find someone who truly believes in what Empty Jars is today — someone who will continue running it with the same care, values, and spirit. We want you to be able to keep coming through the door, picking up what you love, and feeling that same sense of welcome and connection.
For now, nothing changes. We are still here. The doors are open, and we’re grateful for every single one of you.
If you, or someone you know, feels inspired to continue what we’ve built here and would be interested in purchasing the business, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly for more details. We would love to speak with people who share the same passion and vision for this special little shop.
This is simply the start of a new chapter for our family — and we will always be thankful that you were part of this one.
With all our love and gratitude,
Maddie & Marino 🤍🌿
