I am closed tomorrow (Wednesday 27th May) as it’s hot and well I want to take my kids to the beach to learn to windsurf, do water sports and build sandcastles and play pickle ball and chase them for endless hours falling into the sand laughing, picnics and ice creams and melting chocolate in our stainless steel on lunchboxes from zero with friends .
Top entrepreneur closing because it’s hot lol, I know, but I love a memory, it’s my greatest privilege and my biggest motivation .

I love being a mum so much, it’s the most spectacular feeling for me and I traveled the world pre kids and had a very eventful life and honestly I’d swap every memory for those tiny little natural hugs.
It’s why I love being an entrepreneur, I don’t have to miss first guitar concerts, or Christmas shows or the opportunity to build a sandcastle , life doesn’t stop being a mum always remember to ignore the negativity ❤️

I always share about time and adventure being our greatest gift, and love, so if you love something help it grow with commitment of time and presence and the love back will always feel pretty spectacular and your biggest motivation .
See you all on Thursday (hopefully I’ll have three little Welsh Latino pro windsurfers by then lol)

Why do people act like women turn 35 & immediately crumble into dust or we need a saviour (we don’t - statistically women are safer without men😳) ? Or feel like we should always be smiling like this for basics ? I feel like I’m just beginning, and now the strongest and have this hugely happy heart again today (sun definitely helps)

And somehow society still thinks THIS is the age women become “old”?! Let’s not shrink as we haven’t even started .

At 35 women are honestly just hitting their final form:
• less people pleasing
• more confident
• Travel more
• financially smarter
• better boundaries (i’m working on this)

Women literally cannot win though? Can we.

Too fat. Too thin
Too loud. Too quiet.
Too old, yuk she’s had plastic surgery
Too sexual. Prude.
Career focused? Selfish.
Stay at home mum? Lazy.
Boundaries for basic respect ? Toxic feminists 🤣
Calling out toxic dishonest behaviour ? Aggressive 😳
Single mum? Triggering for many 🤣

Also statistically women’s careers and earnings often peak in their 40s… so while society tells us we’re “past it”, most of us are just getting started, grander, wiser, many divorced, and finally able to afford good olive oil.

35 isn’t old, it’s power .
It’s just the age women stop asking for permission telling mediocre folk to f**k off, call out people that defend genocide & call out sexist & chauvinistic dangerous rhetoric, we don’t allow people to take our peace, and we tell them without smiling .

Only smile for those who deserve it ladies.

Females & finance are vital ladies, let’s talk real & let’s protect ourselves better.

50% of marriages end in divorce and women are still far more likely to financially suffer after having children vs men.

Don’t gamble your future away blindly as these are insane odds - a coin flip . Keep the career, take the education, protect yourself & your children . It’s ok to still want an identity once becoming a mum.

I’m a divorced mum of 3 and entrepreneur & honestly? I found life easier single working 3 businesses than married as a housewife & that says a lot (for data purposes so did all my friends 😳 - career, health both mentally & physically and happiness plus standard of care improved immensely ) Speaks absolute volumes.

The gender pay gap is already total f**kery (still around 16- 20%) but the bigger issue? Around 85% of women reduce, change or completely leave their careers within a 3 years of having kids because the “juggle” becomes impossible & they feel compelled due to social expectations & emotional pressure sprinkled with guilt & … because the load is unequal.
Translation: women become unpaid CEOs of everything, you speak up ? You’re a moaner or feminist ... (not an insult)

Meanwhile society acts like you should also greet everyone at the door looking like Nigella Lawson in a spotless house . Babes … without you he’d still have to cook and clean for himself anyway after work . 😭 Share the bloody load.
And if you do stay home to support the family, have the awkward conversations:�• pension contributions for YOU�• savings in YOUR name�• financial protection

Because “he loves me” is lovely Jane… but statistically there’s also a decent chance he’ll one day say “ I’ve changed my mind “ when your 9 months pregnant or after you sacrificed your life, body & pension for packed lunches & believe me he’ll likely hide everything in the divorce & you’ll have no finances to equally fight it … a man’s world indeed - so let’s take it back & make it equal . Get more women In power & politics also so the fecking wars stop killing women & children .

These conversations are vital because around the world 1 woman every 10 minutes is murdered.

I used to think being a “good mum” meant ticking society’s ridiculous boxes. DON’T THEY ARE IMPOSSIBLE ! I’m an entrepreneur, mum, love festivals, mountains, friends & I want to train to be builder - I’m the man I need haha.

We don’t need a certain label to be successful and admired by our little people ladies ? Success is happiness, respect and contentment. Love is magic and those who matter already love you, And when you love people ? You watch them grow with that love and it’s reciprocated and magic is growing (all from you - yey ).

If you concentrate on the tough parts of parenting also you’d die of an overwhelmed headache haha - you need to just embrace the chaos and hugs and remember you are brilliant and growing life.

I feel lucky everyday to be a mum, my heart could burst - such an odd feeling simultaneously wanting to cry because you’re so exhausted and wanting to cry because you also feel loved . I’ve lost nothing being a mother ? But I’ve gained everything and I feel so inspired by my friends watching them parent also. Queens!

Anyway this is just a reminder that you’re enough, motherhood is insane but you are loved and brilliant and we see you .

I also have wrinkly belly as I’ve had three kids, wearing a kids skirt and I’m twisting and not breathing in for no one 🤷‍♀️

Zero Exeter is open from 10:30 today because I’m off to VOTE — and my kids’ school is closed as it’s being used as a polling station (still not sure why they don’t just use local churches, but here we are ).

Whatever your politics, please use your vote. Vote for people who believe in fairness, honesty, compassion, and community, not parties built on division, fear, racism, misogyny, and empty slogans.

Personally, I won’t be voting Reform and I urge you not to also . I believe we deserve better than anger-driven politics and culture-war nonsense, greed, creepy and just a bunch of self obsessed absolute pricks (all voted brexit also - we do not forget those people ) They say businesses shouldn’t share politically but I will as it’s important 🙂

So please don’t vote reform 🙂

And don’t vote for parties whom aren’t outraged for Palestine 🇵🇸

A post supporting women & finances & Let’s address the “stigma”…

I was told, calmly, ignorantly but respectfully kinda (albeit dicky) that there’s still a social stigma around single mothers & especially dating one, said so blasé. But these conversations are important for change ? People’s opinions can change, will change & do change or some people are just fools.

I thought… what an idiotic thing to say, at a table of men also. (but did I compare every man at that table to my phenomenal women around me whom are more successful, kind, caring & accomplished whilst juggling inequality & motherhood alone ? - you betcha - the women excelled obviously ) did I also add it into the girls what’s all group as a WTF moment - also yes insert communal rage.
But who exactly is still buying into that outdated sexist narrative ? Worrisome but lots of people & it’s why men feel superior to women & even I knew it was a load of f**kery, but it still hurt & it upset me being surrounded by high-calibre women & the disrespect towards them, so it opens up the conversation to swap the stigma.
Women should not hear nor feel such outdated statements, as it hurts confidence & confidence is vital .

I called out the bu****it - reframed it and sent it back

But Let’s talk facts, not feelings:�Women initiate the majority of divorces. Not impulsively but after years of carrying emotional, mental, & often financial weight? Giving up careers ? Life’s, bodies, aspirations.happiness .
Do you know men are statistically 7x more likely more likely to leave a sick partner vs a women so women need to be prepared.
Because staying in something that costs you your sanity, your identity, and your future… isn’t loyalty. It’s bad decision-making & frankly dangerous .
Leaving is leading? That’s not weakness, that’s leadership. Choosing Happiness.
We don’t question CEOs for cutting off what’s no longer profitable. �We don’t call it a “stigma” when a business pivots to survive.
So why are women expected to stay in environments that are clearly outdated, dangerous and bankrupt.

And that’s not controversial.
That’s evolution
That’s adjustment
That’s feminism
