I’d like to introduce my husband, Chris.

We met when we were 17, and 27 years later we’re still working side by side, sharing a love of farming, the outdoors, and animals. Together, we’ve built a life we’re proud of and raised our two children, Jessica and James.

Farming has been in Chris’s family for five generations. Together with his dad, Keith, he works tirelessly caring for the animals, growing our own crops, and continuing the family farming tradition.

While Chris is passionate about all aspects of farming, it’s the cattle that really have his heart. Generations of our family have helped shape the herd we have today, and he’s proud to continue that.

I’ve never known anyone who works harder or is more dedicated. Chris is always looking for ways to improve and move the farm forward, not just for today, but for the next generation. His commitment to our family, our farm, and everything we do is something I admire every day.

It’s important to us that our customers know who we are as a family and where their meat comes from. We’re proud to share our farming/Exmoor meat boxes journey with you all ❤️

The feedback on our pork boxes has been fantastic! Customers are loving the flavour, quality, and of course the delicious crackling.

They’re proving so popular that we’re now completely sold out until August, and August availability is already filling up fast with only a limited number of boxes left.

Our pork is packed with flavour, beautifully tender, and produces fantastic crackling. Each box is professionally packed and freezer-ready, making it easy to stock up on quality pork for the months ahead.

Jessie, our daughter, checking in on the lambs to make sure they’re all staying cool and comfortable in this hot weather.

It’s always lovely to see how excited they get when we pop in to check on them.

The lambs definitely enjoy giving Jessie the runaround — she thinks she’s in charge, they clearly disagree! 🤣

What a fantastic few days delivering our Exmoor lamb boxes.

One of the highlights this week was dropping off a whole lamb box to Colin and his wife, who very kindly surprised me with a homemade Peri-Peri marinade that Colin had made himself. I tried it glazed over a lamb leg steak and honestly, the flavour was incredible. Thank you Colin 🥰

This business is about far more than just great meat — it’s about the amazing people behind every order, the conversations at the doorstep, and the support from such thoughtful customers.

I genuinely couldn’t ask for a better community around my little Exmoor meat box business. Thank you all for your continued support.

Checking the livestock the old-fashioned way this morning — horseback before it gets too hot. Meet William, my partner in crime and the best way to get around the farm.

Hope you all have a lovely Bank Holiday Monday. Reece the butcher is busy getting everything prepared for tomorrow’s meat box deliveries. Looking forward to catching up with existing customers and meeting plenty of new faces along the way.

What a day for it. The barbecue’s on, Chris has finally stopped turning hay long enough to pick up a fork, the sausages are sizzling, and the wine’s somehow disappeared faster than the ketchup. 🤭

If you’re firing up the barbecue this Bank Holiday weekend, we’ve still got plenty of our own pork sausages available — locally reared, full of flavour, and guaranteed to make the neighbours suddenly “pop round to say hello.”

Hand made sausages £4 a packet 😊
