RIP Christopher Walk-in!

You may have heard but after a very busy summer this weekend our beloved walk in freezer , Christopher, has collapsed.

We have an engineer on site and hoping to get it back up as soon as possible. However due to this annoyance our display freezer is a bit chaotic and some products may not be available but we are trying our best to have the full range but your understanding is very much appreciated.

Still the usual suspects in the counter though lots of beautiful fresh fish and deli side. Local crabs still in for a while so come grab them while can!

All you weekend warriors who love fish, we have some beautiful things on display today.

Managed to get some more elusive crabs and mackerel for the early birds!

As always some crab claws for the first person to get here who wants them!

A guest appearance from a couple of stunning big halibut ready to chop into steaks.

Local freshly shucked Scallops the size of lemons!!

With an algae bloom we have limited mussels today, but back to normal the bank holiday weekend.

As always lots of beautiful crabmeat and Cornish king crab claws, beautiful Exmouth lobsters straight out the pan also.

With a bank holiday weekend coming up that brings with it one less fish market, so as always we advise try and plan ahead, maybe pre order some things or come see us and we can go through it with you and decide wether you need to order or not.

As I lay in bed last night I received that text no one wants to get while sat with their partner.

“Mate, we’ve got Crabs”

Luckily for us it just means Gerald has been out and checked his pots!! Fighting off hordes of octopus he braved the elements and steamed his way back to shore! But next came the gruelling 1min walk from his mooring to our shop, how he manages to pull that box such a huuuuuge distance I don’t know!

Freshly cooked local Exmouth crabs back in for this weekend. From shore to door in 30steps, can’t get better than that!
