The sun is set to be out all weekend, if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the roads around the County show then come down and see us, order some fish and take a walk along the seafront!

Fish on the quay is approaching our 10year birthday this year! Over these 10 years we have been very proud to showcase some of our amazing seafood our coastline can provide.

Here at fish on the quay Simon and the team are passionate about fresh, sustainable and tasty.

We have been fortunate enough to work along side generations of local fishermen who provide us with all the local treats we all know and love! These guys go out and brave the elements just so we can have our bass dinners, lobster platters, whelk snacks, world renowned Exmouth mussels and so many more treats.
The local chefs who pride themselves on pushing forward the idea of seasonal and local!

And ofcourse our customer base who through supporting our little shop are supporting the local fishermen, suppliers and local fishing industry as a whole.

So when you are tucking into your fishy dinner take a minute to appreciate all the hard work and long hours that goes on before it even reaches our shop-door!

Beautiful skies but a strong wind seems to be the theme recently. As you may now know for us here locally an easterly wind is the worst kind however, that helps the cafe round the corner with all the fisherman stuck on land!!

As a result some fish isn’t available this end of the week but we have got a guest appearance from a few others. Grey mullet, Tusk, Chalkstream trout, Dabs and many more.

Land Farmers have it easy right ;-)
