Having just taken delivery of some lovely fresh local raspberries and strawberries, my thought for the day,is in a world of greed, selfishness, and self importance, where so many want more even though very wealthy and powerful as it is, rather than admire them I take pity on them, as I’m not sure they are as contented as a mere Norfolk man who finds more pleasure in serving his community and giving them something to enjoy, rather than planning to take over the world or indeed space it would now seem, I’m always reminded of the saying the bigger they are the harder they fall.
So I will let others do what they want, throw money at war, or some rocket into space if they want, for me a lovely strawberry will give me far more pleasure! How about you?

Although it’s not looking great weather wise we can still appreciate the beauty of life, and even on a day such as this,little things can give us joy, this plant outside the shop does not care what the sky looks like or what mood I am in it just wants to radiate its colour, which in turn brings me pleasure.

We as people can do that for our fellow humans, although probably not feeling 100percent ourselves can through a kind act or word make all the difference to someone else’s day.

So why not give that a go today, see if you can be that ray of sunshine for someone on a gloomy day, the reward that can give you money cannot buy.
