‼️Business Closure Notice‼️

This week (Thursday 6th July) will be our last egg delivery for AJ’s Eggs. We are going to archive the page and do hope that one day we can reopen and start again.

We are closing because our egg supply farmers have struggled over the last year with all that has happened with the bird flu, increased fuel prices etc, many have gone. We were then able to supply our lovely eggs through a Wyre based company. That company has now amalgamated with a larger company. They are squeezing us out by giving us the bare minimum of eggs, poor quality and sometimes old stock, and so we are not able to supply customers with enough eggs of the standard that is acceptable to us. We have had to re-evaluate and have decided it is best to close the business.

Thank you to all our faithful customers over the two years, we have delivered the best eggs. We are truly sorry it has come to having to make this decision, knowing many of you have been faithful and supportive. Please continue to support small businesses wherever you can. Big businesses are crushing us and at the end of the day, they don’t really care about the customer, quality of service or the communities we live in. It’s all about fast turnover and money.

My son attends Red Marsh School. They are raising money for a new playground. At the moment it's tarmac which isn't great for the children. They are raising money with a summer BBQ and are asking local businesses, friends and family for donations for their family Big raffle.
