Huge thanks to everyone for joining us and supporting today’s Forfar market!

Special thanks to our surprise OG (Original) Angus Farmers market familiar faces who today joined us to help give Ian & Heather a proper good send off. Their first Angus market was 1999 and today was their last Angus market as they head off to enjoy their well earned retirement! We thank them for their passion, commitment and kindness and for being great champions and genuine ambassadors of local produce and the markets in our communities and further afield. We’re happy sad. We will miss you and look forward to seeing you as a new customer. Thank you from all of us here at PAM and all the traders and producers who’ve had the honour and privilege to work alongside you x

🌱 VEGAN TABLET IS HERE! 🌱

You asked for a dairy‑free option… I’ve listened!

I’ve been vegetarian for 25 years!!!! I’ve had periods of following a vegan lifestyle. I was also dairy‑free during pregnancy and breastfeeding — so I know how much it can mean to have treats you can actually enjoy.

I firmly believe everyone deserves proper Scottish tablet — dairy‑free or not, nobody should be left out. 🤎

So, I’ve made my own vegan condensed milk and created a creamy coconut tablet that’s completely dairy‑free, with no allergen‑containing ingredients.

And I’m taking the process seriously. 👇

• Workspace sanitising — the entire workspace is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before production
• Separate equipment — vegan batches are made using a completely separate pot, utensils and tray
• Batch coding — vegan batches are given separate batch coding for traceability
• Same care — everything is made with the same attention as my traditional tablet

And the best bit?

Even the non‑vegans I tested it on are obsessed. 😂🤎

So… I think we might have a winner.
