Hello foodies. Our Ping and Ben’s Kitchen Club events have been great fun, and we’ve just added a new series of dates to book. Join us on Thursday 22nd October when Guest Chef and master pickler James Cooper from Shedletskys is joining us for an evening of pickle-related recipes and inspo. 🥒🫙

For everyone who has asked us to re-stock these… THEY ARE BACK! 💚

Ben’s latest obsession is these Chao Sua Rice Crackers. They are a proper Thai snack classic, made from puffed Thai jasmine rice and topped with the unmistakable flavours of pad thai - tamarind, fish sauce, garlic, chilli and real dried shrimp floss. Thailand’s national dish, faithfully translated into a crunchy bite-sized cracker. Light, audibly crisp, properly seasoned and surprisingly authentic - far more interesting than the average rice cake.

The natural home for these is the snack table, alongside a cold Singha, a glass of dry riesling or a lime-heavy cocktail. They’re also brilliant scattered over Thai-style noodles or served as part of an Asian sharing spread with pickles, peanut dip and som tam.

BACK IN STOCK!
We love these Halopenos sauces - made with sweet shredded jalapeno chilli peppers they are utterly delicious and made by a small business just like ours. Think sweet, crunchy flavour bombs with a little kick of heat - they are sort of a cross between a relish a pickle and a sauce.

They are fantastic in burgers or grilled halloumi, on pizzas, in a cheese sandwich, on nachos, mac ‘n’ cheese and so on...you get the picture!

Grab some jars today. Shop online or in store we are open 9-5 weekdays and 9-12 Saturday mornings.

Our very popular Organic anchovies are finally back in stock! Foodies, we are truly obsessed with these and OBVIOUSLY had to go and visit the factory when we were holidaying in Northern Spain last summer. They have an extraordinary taste and texture and are caught in the Bay of Biscay only during the months of April, May and June - it’s at this time when the fish have the most fat content giving them the best flavour.

Don Bocarte use a meticulous curing and preserving process for their anchovies, they are salted and arranged in barrels where they are pressed and left to mature for 8 months in temperature controlled conditions. They are then cleaned and filleted by hand by a skilled team before being canned in organic extra virgin olive oil.They are semi cured and need to be stored in the fridge.

Enjoy these anchovies with some good bread and a glass of something chilled! Foodies, if you haven’t tried them yet please order some and let us know what you think. They are amazing.
