Fulbourn Fruit Shop has been providing quality fruit and vegetables to the residents of Fulbourn and surrounding villages for over fifty years. Richard Wombwell, the proprietor of the shop for the last 41 years, travels to New Spittlefields Market in East London three mornings every week of the year to source stock for the shop. hop also receives four deliveries each week of stock from two wholesalers based in the fens providing local fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables. Richard's philosophy is to provide fresh English produce wherever possible supplemented by a range of quality produce from overseas. Regular readers of Richard's column in the Mill will already know that he is passionate about wildlife and especially wild birds and the Fruit Shop therefore stocks a wide range of competitively priced wild bird food and feeders.
