Over the last year or so, we’ve been making a real effort to bring something a little different to Hamlets — bringing you new ideas, special weeks, seasonal ranges and plenty of excuses to get some good food on the table!

We’ve already brought you:

A week packed with some of our favourite curry-inspired dishes and flavours.

🌭 26th October – SAUSAGE WEEK
If you know us, you know this one is going to be a big one! More flavours, more ideas and plenty of sausage! 😍

🔥 5th November – BONFIRE NIGHT
Something warming and hearty for those cold November nights.

🚴‍♀️ THEY DID IT! 🚴‍♀️💚💜

A HUGE congratulations to these four absolute legends — Sammy, Helen, Ann & Em — who have completed their incredible Kili2Coast challenge! 🌊🏔️

What an incredible achievement and what an amazing team. ❤️💚💜

From everyone at Hamlets Butchers — congratulations ladies! You should be unbelievably proud of yourselves. 👏👏👏

Now… where’s that well-earned w**e?! 🍷😂

WOOOOOO… WE’VE ARRIVED AT THE COAST!!! 🌊🚴‍♀️🙌

KILI2COAST… 350KM COMPLETE! ✅💚💜

What a LONG slog today… the legs are Shaky , the backsides are done, and quite frankly, so are we! 😂

Today’s highlights…

🚴‍♀️ Sammy discovered a new level of bike rage 😤😂
📝 Helen spent the miles making poems up in her head…
🍷 Ann got through it by thinking about the w**e waiting at the end…
😂 Em just needed to GET THERE so she could finally give her poor back a rest!

But WE DID IT. ❤️

350KM from Kilimanjaro all the way to the coast! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️

Absolutely Brutal roads, heat, hills, bumps, sand, laughs, tears (Em) and probably a fair bit of swearing along the way (Sammy)… but all four of us made it! 💪

And yes… the bottle of w**e has already been ordered! 🍷😂

Now it’s time for dinner and some very well-earned pool & sea chill time. 🌊☀️🍹

Kili2Coast 2026… 350KM… WE BLOODY DID IT! 💚💜🚴‍♀️🌊

💙 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE RESULT! 💙

We’ve just received this amazing Certificate of Appreciation from Lancashire Mind recognising the £7,970.42 we’ve raised👏

We genuinely can’t thank everyone enough for the incredible support you’ve shown us throughout our fundraising. From donating, taking part in our events, buying raffle tickets, sharing our posts or simply cheering us on — every single bit of support has made a difference.

What started as a way for us at Hamlets Butchers to give something back to the local community has turned into something we’re incredibly proud of. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone in Garstang and beyond who helped us get to this amazing total. And a special thank you to everyone who took part in our 21-mile walk for Lancashire Mind — there’s no way we could have done it without you!

🚴‍♀️ GARSTANG, LET’S GET BEHIND THESE FOUR! 🇹🇿❤️

Next Tuesday, these 4 are setting off on an incredible challenge — cycling 340km over 6 days from Mount Kilimanjaro to the coast! 🚵‍♀️🌋🌊

We’ve seen first-hand just how amazing the Garstang and local community can be when it comes to getting behind a great cause, after the incredible support we received for our own charity fundraiser a few weeks ago! ❤️

So we’d love to see that same Garstang spirit getting behind Kili 2 Coast 🙌

🔥 NEW IN THE COUNTER – HOMEMADE PASTRAMI! 🥩

Something a little bit different has landed for the cooked counter at Hamlets Butchers… our brand new pastrami! 🤤

We’ve been working on this one behind the scenes and we’re chuffed with how it’s turned out. Beautifully seasoned, packed full of flavour and perfect sliced nice and thin for sandwiches, bagels or a proper deli-style lunch! 🥪

Whether you’re a pastrami fan already or fancy trying something new, come and give ours a go! 👌

🐑🎉 WE HAVE OUR WINNER! 🎉🐑

The correct name was Harriet 🐑❤️

Congratulations to our winner, whose granddaughter was the one who correctly guessed Harriet! 👏🎯

There was one person who certainly wasn’t expecting anyone to get it right… 👀

Jack, one of our butchers, said that if someone guessed the correct name, he’d eat his shoe! 👞😂

Well Jack… someone got it right! We’re still waiting for the shoe-eating to happen… 👀🤣
