You find me today in a cold warehouse deep in the heart of Scotland to meet up with my close friend Neil. Taken in 2022 as an off the cusp video before I had a mic the video was too good not to salvage. In the many years I’ve known Neil we get lost for hours on end talking everything cars, he has a keen eye for classics after 50 years in the motor trade.

This 1992 Lotus Esprit S4 2.2 Turbo was registered here in the UK in August 1992 when I was 2 months old. Sometimes it can be a gamble when buying a car from an online auction there’s only so much photos and videos can tell you. Neil’s years of experience in buying cars never fails to amaze me and this one is no different.

Join us as we take a walk around the car for the very first time, we are both pleasantly surprised at the overall condition. This one shouldn’t take too much work to put right.

Its rare to see a car that’s been used in the real world as a daily driver but been cared to the extent of a garage queen. This was a video I done for a customer of mine last summer he thought about selling it but after seeing the car fully detailed he kept it with the rest of his Porsche collection. This car was daily driven for over 10 years between Glasgow and London until I sold him his electric Taycan which took this cars place. Nearing 20 years old and nearly 100,000 miles on the engine and chassis, just look at it! The 997 brought back the circle headlights since the 993 in 1996. The 997 will be a future classic.
