Democracy? Is it democratic to (be allowed to) push such a proposal prior to consents being applied for? Lucky Forrest group can afford all the publicity. Individual applicants can’t. It’ll be interesting to see the response to the proposed extension to this listed building. Funny how architects/ designers don’t seem to be credited.
The South Rotunda has been sympathetically restored, but neither should have been lost to public ownership.

Oh here we go- don’t tell me- since stripping the backside out of it they’ve just discovered it’s not financially viable- give us a break 😡

The 14-storey building was originally owned by City of Glasgow College but has been empty for ten years.

Fantastic, powerful art to be seen in the trongate/ gallowgate area in Glasgow Taylor, Artist Craig Peacock Gallowgate Artists Studios & Street Level Photoworks. But the new ‘architecture’ is seriously depressing. Really, Glasgow, is this the best we can do??
