Thank you to wild roots field project for the lovely organic tomatoes. We made good use of them by making home made passata.

I was gifted a lot of plums (7 boxes full)
So I have been making a new product
Chinese plum sauce and Chinese plum sauce with chilli.
A sweet sticky sauce perfect for ribs, duck and chicken.
Can be used in stir fried vegetables and also as a dipping sauce for prawn crackers.
Granny made Chinese with it and grandad asked where we got the sauce from, he thought it was the best he ever had.

Coming soon: fig jam, thanks to the sun this year our fig tree is bursting with sweet figs we will be picking today and jam will be ready Monday.
