Golden wildflower "raw" honey from the Glengormley Hills. Now jarred up and ready for collection. I'm home most evenings 6-7.30pm for sales but just get in touch for details. Cash only but I do have change.

All the 2026 Glengormley honey is now strained and available in 227g jars. This is as processed as it gets. It's never heated, totally "raw" and analysis shows it has been gleaned mainly from hedgerow bramble with some meadowsweet, borage and rosebay willow herb.
You can collect from me most evenings in Glengormley but check my availability on the day. Any questions, please just ask.
The next honey won't be available till May '27 at the very earliest so make sure you stock up now for those mid winter sniffles.

*SOLD OUT BUT MORE COMING SOON!*
First runny honey batch of the season. Get drizzling! I'll be home Monday onwards (most nights) around 5.30 - 7.30pm for sales. £7/ half pound jar. Please, please bring correct change as I literally have no coins. It's going to settle till then and of course I'lll have to label up. There's plenty more forming so just keep your fingers crossed for literally just four more weeks of sun. If you need an address or more details please just pm me.

For those of you patiently waiting for 2026 Red Hut Honey, these little worker bees are getting there. It's 1st July and the nectar is flowing from the hedgerows above Glengormley. I'm HOPING that I can remove some honey frames to extract in the next week or two. Let's hope for lots of sun. I'll post here and on my other platforms as soon as it's ready to go.

A sample of some of the pure beeswax candles produced from my own beeswax. I pride myself on maintaining an organically managed garden to make both the honey and wax as pure as possible.
The bees seem to forage in the fields and hedgerows here above Glengormley so although I can't legally write " organic" on my labels, the honey is as pure as it can realistically be.
Both honey and candles currently available. I have limited stock so once gone, that will be it until at least May 2026.

Honey now available! What a great summer. The bees are doing me proud. You can pick up half pound jars (shown here) from me at home in Glengormley most evenings around 6-7pm but just message me to check availability, location etc. This current batch is from the beautiful Sentry Hill site at Ballycraigy Road. Raw, local, from a "chemical-free" allotment site. What's not to love?

The honey is really capping itself so hey should be able to jar up some starting at the end of the week!

It's coming into swarming time May/ June 2026 so.... if you see one of these, just give me a call and I'll collect even if you're some distance from me. I'm also partial to tree bumble bees who like hanging out in old bird boxes so I try to give those a new home on my fence too. You lose the nest box but you can always collect it from me when the bees vacate at the end of the summer. Ps edit - my bumble gaps are completely full for this year alas but contact me and I can advise.

So that's all the sticky gear cleaned and put back in the bee shed. We've had a smaller but still better than expected honey crop here in Glengormley. The entire haul sold out in just 4 nights! Local customers are fantastic. Sell local, buy local and recycle where you can. Even a lot of the hive parts are cobbled from skipped wood offcuts.
