New beginnings.

Since sharing the news about the butchery closing, we’ve been overwhelmed by the kind messages and support from so many of you. Thank you!

While saying goodbye to the butchery has been emotional for all of us, we’re also looking forward to the opportunities this gives us to continue growing and improving the shop.

We’ll be making changes gradually over the coming days and weeks as we bring in new products, move things around (probably many, many times), and create even more space for the local produce and favourites you already know and love.

As with any change, there may be a few hiccups and the odd disturbance along the way while we get everything settled, so we’d really appreciate your patience and support as we work through it all.

An update from us.

When we first started this journey, one of our biggest dreams was to offer our own beef and lamb through the butchery counter. It was something we were incredibly proud of, and over the years we’ve loved being able to share that part of the family farm with you all.

But as time has gone on, things have naturally changed. Shopping habits, personal circumstances, and the rising costs of running a butchery mean that, sadly, it’s no longer something we can sustainably continue.

So, with heavy hearts, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our butchery counter later this month.

Our final day of trading will be Tuesday 19th May.

This certainly has not been an easy decision for us, and we want to say the biggest thank you to every member of our butchery team, past and present, for all their hard work, skill and dedication over the years. From the late nights to the busy weekends, they’ve given so much, and we’re incredibly thankful for the part they’ve played in our story.

We’re also extremely grateful to all of you for your support of the butchery - it’s truly meant a lot to us.

While this chapter is coming to an end, we’re also excited for what’s ahead. This change gives us the opportunity to focus even more on continuing to grow the farm shop, expanding our range of local products and bringing even more of what you love under one roof.

The restaurant and farm shop will continue as normal, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming you along the way.
