A familiar face at Glossop Wholefoods ❤️

We always love it when Rose pops in for a visit.

Many of you will know Rose & her husband Roger as the legends who first brought Wholefoods to Glossop, opening the original shop at 8 Henry Street on 28th June 1980. For almost three decades, the shop became a much-loved part of the community before closing its doors in November 2008.

Rose’s passion for good food, ethical choices and community helped lay the foundations for what so many people in Glossop value today. ❤️

It’s always lovely to welcome her back and hear some of the stories from those early days. Thank you, Rose, for being such an important part of Glossop’s independent food history.
