It was a typical Thursday for the Hadfield Coming Together Team. As usual, I made my useful and mucked in alongside Anne, Bev, Councillor Gill Cross for Hadfield North, Del, Jac, Jacky, Jenn, Katie, Laura, Mat, Mel, Sandra, Si, Sue, Vic and Viv. A massive shout out to Phil and Vince for kindly delivering food parcels, and to Mark and Neil for collecting food donations on our behalf too.

Hadfield Coming Together Group in conjunction with Carmel Hadfield Church served 9️⃣7️⃣ food parcels to Hadfielders, Padfielders and Tinslers on Thursday afternoon. A giant thank you and a big shout out to Aldi Glossop, Asda hyde, Billy's Plaice, Fareshare, Lidl Glossop, M&S Glossop, Padfield Congregational Church, Sowerbutts Glossop and St Charles Borromeo RC Church for their incredible food donations once again this week.

For the past 11 years, Bellies Not Bins has been at the heart of our local community, dedicated to tackling food waste and combating food insecurity. Whether it's collecting food donations and serving refreshments, or packaging up and delivering food parcels, all of this wouldn't have been possible without our dedicated HCT volunteers who work tirelessly each week to ensure that we're able to support our local community all year round! 🧡🍞🥫🥩🧀🧅🍊🫑🍇🍕🧁

Made my useful by putting in a shift at BELLIES NOT BINS this morning. I wish to give a special mention to Councillor Gill Cross for Hadfield North, Del, Jac, Jacky, Katie, Nathan, Nic, Si, Sue, Vic and Viv for all their hard work throughout the day. In addition, a huge shout out to Phil and Vince for kindly delivering food parcels, and to Mark and Neil for collecting food donations on behalf too.

The HCT Team also took the time to sing a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday to our Gill who does so much for us all. Week in, week out, Gill dedicates so much time and energy to our local community - always with kindness, humility and a tireless commitment to helping others. We all hope Gill has a thoroughly enjoyable day on Sunday. She's the beating heart of our team and we're all incredibly lucky to have her in our lives. 🧡🍞🥫🥩🧀🥓🥚🧅🍅🥬🍩
