Good morning 🌞 there is definitely an autumnal feel to the days now. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets and surprisingly the hedgerows, after this awful summer, bursting with colour from the bright red hose hips, the less bright haws and into the purples of blackberries and sloes. The girls are more relaxed in the fields but you know they just have their eyes on their winter lodgings.
The market today is Stroud Farmers Market, see you there, very shortly.

Greening fields, what more would you want? Sadly an awful lot more rain is needed but not at the moment as we have a ploughed, power harrowed and rolled field, ready for a new lay. Fingers now crossed that the rain stays away brilliant the seeds are sown. Thank you Will and Will of Sekinger Farming.

Sorry to say, we are CLOSED today!
Electricity went off about 2 hours ago, Will has had to get the generator going to finish off the milking and washing up.
Cheese making is on hold.

I had a good time engaging with customers from yesteryear at thebarn_ledbury last evening and looking forward to returning in a couple of weeks time. Whilst there I witnessed rain but sadly the rain that we had at the farm was not the same and today no rain at all, the only saving grace is that it is cooler.
We have just had our TB test and am pleased to say that we are clear 🎉
Tomorrow, I’m at Stroud Farmers Market, with Will and Lydia at Cirencester Farmers' Market.
Beautiful evening skies whilst walking the dogs but so Autumnal.

I’m off to Ledbury tomorrow afternoon. I attended this market before Covid and looking forward to being back and seeing some of my old customers.
