We’ve expanded our EV offering to a total of 52 ultra‑rapid charging points, with 14 new charging units now live across our North and South sites. ⚡️

Our EV upgrade includes:

🔋 Northbound: 24 ultra‑rapid charging points
🔋 Southbound: 28 ultra‑rapid charging points

Across both sides, we now have 26 ultra‑rapid chargers (52 charging points), each capable of delivering up to 150kW per charging point, with Tesla Superchargers also available. Northbound also includes a CHAdeMO/CCS unit for added flexibility.

Last year, we were proud to be recognised as the 2nd best EV hub in the world. This expansion supports the growing number of electric journeys along the M5. ♻️

And while your vehicle charges, our Main Building is now open 24 hours - giving you round‑the‑clock access to showers, toilets and our Quick Kitchen for hot food and drinks. 🥧

Whether you’re charging at 3am, heading off early on holiday or travelling long‑distance, we’ll be ready to welcome you whenever your journey brings you to us.

That’s why we serve Canton. Since 2007, they’ve built close relationships with the growers behind their blends - visiting farms, understanding how each tea is made, and choosing leaves for their character and quality.

You’ll find their tea in our Kitchens, Quick Kitchens and Filling Stations, so even a quick pause on your journey comes with a cup that’s been chosen with care.

We love that some of Canton’s producers grow a mix of plants and trees alongside their ancient tea trees. 🌱

A genuinely good cuppa, wherever the road takes you.

We love Wholly Gelato - made by Emily, Will and the team in small batches using free-range milk from Emily’s family herd, just a few yards from the milking parlour. 🐄

Easter in our Farmshops always starts the same way - with chocolate. Really good chocolate. 🍫

We work with The Cocoabean Company in Twynholm, Scotland, to create our Easter range - from flavour-packed eggs using ingredients from our Farmshop producers to loose chocolates shaped like hot cross buns, carrots, and little chicks… the sort you spot and think, oh go on then. 🐣

Emily, our Head of Farmshop, and Claire, Founder of The Cocoabean Company (and chocolate expert), work together each season to come up with new ideas, bringing great chocolate and the flavours from our brilliant producers into one place.

Emily shares: “We use the larder of our Farmshop as ingredients to make the chocolates extra special. It might be salted caramel sauce from Hawkshead Relish Company or ginger Parkin from Beau’s Bakehouse. I try to link every product back to our Farmshops.”

Chocolate is a favourite at Easter - but ours comes with the added joy of characterful designs, brilliant producers and thoughtful, unique flavours.

The Marmalade Motorway is now open!

Each year, thousands of precious jars make their way by sea, land and air to Dalemain Mansion & Historic Gardens in Cumbria, hoping to be crowned the world’s best marmalade at the The Dalemain World Marmalade Awards & Festival.

We’re proud to be a drop-off point for the Dalemain World Marmalade Awards once again this year and to sponsor the ‘Westmorland Local Flavours’ category, which celebrates the use of local ingredients in marmalade recipes.

If you’ve been perfecting your recipe, here’s what you need to know:

🍊 You can drop off your entries at Tebay Services, Rheged, Gloucester Services and Cairn Lodge Services.
🍊 Entry forms are available online via https://www.dalemain.com/competition-entry.
🍊 The entry fee is just £10, with all proceeds going to Hospice at Home.
🍊 Entries close on 2nd February, with final drop off at our sites closing on 23rd January.
