As some of you may know by now, a few months ago my mum had a heart attack. She was taken to Halifax for stents but unfortunately the surgery was unsuccessful.

After waiting what felt like ten years for a bed in Leeds - she was finally moved from Halifax to leeds for a triple heat bypass.

During this period I’ve struggled to cover most shifts and found this adding more stress and pressure on to me and my family - so I finally made the decision to temporarily close the shop.

Mums home now and doing well - because she’s super women. And the world would be a sh*tty place without our nana babs. 💖 🙏🏻💖🙏🏻

The past few wks have been the scariest I’ve ever felt in my entire life. Most will know just how close me and my siblings are with mum and each other. It’s stoped me in my tracks and made me realise how much of a workaholic I’ve become. Mornings at the deli then every evening and wk end at the pub.

You don’t realise that your doing too much until it’s too late. And life really is too short to be worried about who’s working this next shift!!!

So for now, Me and my family wish you all a very merry Christmas and thank you for your kindness and support over this difficult period. Hope to see you all in the new year 💖💖💖
