When our family took on Morgan’s, we wanted to create more than just a butcher’s shop. We wanted to build a place that supports local farmers, celebrates traditional skills, welcomes everyone and plays an active role in our community.

From championing British farming and local producers, to our accessibility work, educational butchery classes, community events and initiatives like Morgan’s Little Free Library, community has always been at the heart of what we do.

💙 Our loo has been twinned! 🚽🌍

It might seem like a small thing, but we’re really pleased to have twinned the Morgan’s Butchery toilet with a toilet in Makwanpur, Nepal.

Around 1 in 5 people worldwide don’t have access to a toilet, and through Toilet Twinning, our contribution helps support work tackling poverty and improving access to safe sanitation.

At Morgan’s, we’re always looking for little ways our family business can make a difference, both within our own community and a little further afield! 💙🚽

We’re proud to be a dog-friendly butchers, so there’s no need to leave your best friend outside while you shop, bring them in to say hello! And, of course, there might just be the occasional treat waiting behind the counter… 🥩🐾

It's really lovely to see our family and little shop featured in the latest Cambridge Edition, sharing what a day at Morgan’s actually looks like.

There are plenty of early mornings, long days and lots that happens behind the scenes, but we genuinely wouldn’t have it any other way. We get to work together as a family, support some fantastic local farmers and producers, and most importantly, spend our days chatting to and serving so many of you who have become much more than just customers.

Thank you for continuing to support our little family business and being part of the Morgan’s journey. It really does mean more to us than you probably realise. 💙🥩

The award recognises his work in helping make Morgan’s Butchery an accessible and barrier-free rural retail store, proving that inclusion can be at the heart of a small family business.

From meeting inspiring people, celebrating achievements and sharing Morgan’s story, it’s been a trip full of memorable moments.
