Join us on Sunday 25th October for a full day of celebrations for the humble apple. PLUS meander up to the Grade I listed monument, Hawarden Old Castle for our open day.

At the Farm Shop we will have lots of fun-filled family activities as we celebrate autumn and all things apples! Join us at Hawarden Estate Farm Shop between 10am-4pm, for a range of free activities hosted by Ffion (Explorer Club). Drop-in throughout the day for:

🎃 Pick your own pumpkins
🍎 Apple-related crafts
🎨 Face painting (paid)
🎼 Live music
🔥 Marshmallows and s’mores around our campfires
🍏 Apple bobbing
🍰 Hot food from the fire and sweet treats from our bakery.
🍻 And on the bar you’ll find OURS C***r, plus hot mulled c***r, too.

No booking necessary, just come along on the day.

The Walled Garden sits at the heart of Hawarden Estate. Once you've seen the view, it's pretty hard to forget it.

Our bakery is bursting with delicious pastries, loaves, and (we think) the best sourdough around.

We’re incredibly proud of our bakery. Stephanie and our team are really passionate about what they do, arriving before dawn each day to do things properly, slowly and with real care. That’s pretty great, we think.

Come and have a try, you seriously won’t regret it.

We have LOVED having so many of you joining us on a Saturday evening 🧡 soaking up the sunshine, enjoying pizza and live music.

If you’re in need of an acitivity to entertain and inspire little ones come and see us. The Explorer Trail is the perfect tonic for boredom and curiosity. Start at The Farm Shop and follow the clues through the woodlands surrounding the campsite and shop. 🦊🌱

We also run weekly explorer sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays with Ffion our outdoor expert. Check the events section of our website for more info.

Our bakery is a real, serious bakery that turns out pure deliciousness every single day, from sourdough and white bloomer loaves to burger buns, doughnuts, brownies, cookies and loads more.

This means that any bread or cake or biscuit that you eat at the Farm Shop or The Glynne Arms has been made by us . That’s pretty great, we think.

On Saturday we have our first of seven summer sessions of live music at the Farm Shop.

Join us from 6–8pm to enjoy a freshly made pizza from our outdoor kitchen and unwind in the evening sun.
