The perfect person will be passionate about local, fresh ingredients and driven by creating exceptional food. You will have a background of working in a busy bakery with a seasonally-led menu. Creative flair is encouraged. You will have a natural eye for detail and a keen willingness to learn.
You will motivate the people around you to create a culture of passion and enthusiasm for the production and service to the very best standard. You will also cultivate an excellent working partnership with the Events Managers, Restaurant Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Owners. You will use creative thinking and initiative to develop ideas and make delicious food.

Hawarden Estate is one of Britain’s most creative, forward-thinking, storied and beautiful private estates. It’s home to a Farm Shop and bakery. But that’s not all. We also have The Glynne Arms located in Hawarden village, The Walled Garden School of craft, wellness and food, Some of the finest holiday homes in Britain, a seasonal campsite (plus lots, lots more.)

What you’ll be doing ⬇️
Managing a small team of baker
Seeking and implementing efficiencies in our current bakery set up
Maintaining the quality of the current menu
Creating and maintaining relationships with our current and potential suppliers
Recipe and future Menu Development alongside our chefs
