Does anyone know who's the Black Mercedes A class (SP21 ODR) parked outside the old Barclays bank is??

It stopped a trader setting up on Tuesday and is still there, the market is obviously wanting it removing by next Tuesday's market.

From Tuesday the 7th April the outdoor market will have a new manager. Please keep on showing the same consideration as I have witnessed regarding keeping the market place clear of vehicles from Monday night's going forward and with this in mind please remember that even though it is Bank Holiday Monday this week, anyone staying in local hospitality accommodation will still need to move on Monday. All stall holders will be returning this week and we expect to have a full market.
Many thanks for everyone's support over the last couple years and I would like to thank the Tolls trustees for giving me the opportunity to leave my mark on the Town's history.

It's Monday reminder time!
Please make sure all cars are moved tonight so our lovely traders can set up in the morning!

The cones are out for another Monday and the weather is debatable, but as my dear Scarlet said.."tomorrow is another day ".
So please remember that all vehicles will have to be removed from the market place tonight ready for the traders to get set up safely in the morning. We again have Rob with the wooden furniture, Stephensons of Appleby and Hawes Fish Market from cafe curva to the parlour. And at the top end from the Crown hotel up to Penny Garth cafe we have Westmorland sheepskins, sew new fabrics, Steve jams, Catlow yarns and a new stall selling beautiful candles and wax melts. Across on Penny Garth car park will be Singh with his wonderful supplies of ladies clothing. So fingers crossed for some settled weather. Thank you for your consideration.

And so it's Monday once again! Another regular trader is returning tomorrow after the winter break so please remember that all vehicles need to be moved from the market place from Penny garth cafe to Caffe Curva tonight. Robert with the wooden garden furniture will be setting up next to Stephensons of Appleby so it is very important that the space is kept clear.
Last week we had a trader who could not set up in their own space as a resident in a nearby hotel had not moved their vehicle, so if anybody in the local hospitality trade would please notify residents of the importance of moving vehicles it would be greatly appreciated.
I only have a few more weeks left to do as market manager as someone else will be taking over in April, some may be glad to see the back of me moaning every Monday, but I hope that the consideration that most people have shown about the importance of moving vehicles will continue for whoever takes over.
