🎉 The Bakehouse is 1 today! 🎉

One year ago today, we employed two fantastic ladies in our newly refurbished Bakehouse, after making the big decision to close our sandwich shop and start a new chapter.

It was a huge step for us and took lots of effort, hard work and determination, but thanks to our amazing staff and everyone around us, it’s been a fantastic move. ❤️

To celebrate the Bakehouse’s 1st birthday, the girls surprised me this morning with a very special 1st birthday pork pie cake! 🥧🎂

I absolutely love it! 😂❤️

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past year — we really do appreciate it.

Here’s to many more years of the Bakehouse! 🥂

Firstly… this one was NEARLY COLD by the time I cut it up because I’ve been at cattle market 😭😂 so the cut-up definitely doesn’t do it justice…

BUT THIS PIE IS IMMENSE 🤩🔥

😬 DOES THIS ONE SELL?! 😬

I KNOW it’s risky… LIVER 👀😂

But I’m not gonna lie, this is probably one of the tastiest pies I’ve ever made!!

I ate HALF of the one I cut up after filming 🤣 and even lukewarm it was still AMAZING… so piping hot with that mash tatty top?! UNREAL 🔥🤤

And if you’ve never tried the gravy that liver creates… YOU ARE MISSING OUT!! 😍 Proper rich, tasty gravy — honestly, it’s something else!

If you’re of my generation (I’m only 30 by the way 😂) and liver is one of those things you’ve always thought NOPE to… GIVE IT A CHANCE!!

Don’t bork 🤣 Give liver some LOVE ❤️ because this pie is AMAZING!
