Somehow in the whirlwind of running our little deli - making coffee, unpacking deliveries, creating salads, and keeping all the plates spinning, we completely missed our first birthday! 🎈

Which probably says everything about our first year…

Over a year ago, Fletchers opened its doors with a simple hope: to create a place filled with great fresh food, good coffee and a warm welcome.

Since then we’ve shared countless coffees, chats, top notch sandwiches (you tell us!) and recipes.

We have welcomed regular faces every week since opening, and had many holiday makers find us as they explored the wonderful town of Hayle.

Running a small business is not without challenges, but every visit, recommendation, order and kind word has helped to make us what we are today.

Pop into Fletchers for a proper Cornish bite — freshly made sarnies, garden-fresh salads, and a shelf full of goodies from just down the road — Cornish ketchup, local jams and chutneys, fresh veggies and fresh baked bread to take home too.

Whether you’re grabbing lunch on the go or soaking up the sunshine on our little spot outside, you’ll know every pound you spend helps keep Cornwall’s food scene thriving 🍓

Sit in, take away, park free for an hour, and always leave fed, happy, and a bit smug for shopping local.

Yes, we might be a couple of pounds more than a supermarket meal deal… but the flavour and quality is a world apart. Everything’s made fresh, and every lunch supports a small local business and our brilliant local suppliers.

So if you can, ditch the packet sarnies and treat yourself to something proper this week for lunch. We’d love to see you. 💛

A surprising amount of people are popping in and don’t know we do lunch, so here’s the lowdown on the lunchtime options:

🥪 Fresh-made sarnies
On lovely breads & bagels. Reubens, salmon and cream cheese, chicken salads, plus loads of veggie & vegan options. Mike blooming loves sarnies. All made with love.

🥗 Salad boxes
Fresh, colourful and filling. Leaves, hummus, cous cous, grains, coleslaw, heritage toms, seeds…
Have a bit of everything or build your own.

🍲 Soup & bread
Freshly made and very comforting.

🔥 Hot pulled pork rolls
Need we say more?

🥧 Changing bits every week
Quiches, sausage rolls and other good stuff that appears and disappears.
