Let’s talk BBQ season 🔥
A few things to know about our meat in the chillers 👀
☀️ All of our meat that we sell is our own! Homegrown on our farm here in West Sussex. We have Dexter cattle, mixed breed sheep, Saddleback pigs and chickens. Our cattle and lambs live on an entirely grass fed diet, our pigs live in our extensive woodland and our chickens move across our pasture at home - all of which you can come and see when you visit at the weekend!
🥩 We do all of our own butchery. Our fabulous butcher Tommy Top Knives cuts throughout the week for us so that we can offer a variety of cuts every weekend. We also make all of our own burgers, sausages, koftas and kebabs using natural ingredients and seasonings.
🍔 All of our burgers and sausages are gluten free. We season our bangers with salt, pepper and sage, and we also use our own fresh homegrown ingredients too - look forward to pork and leek bangers this weekend, made with the leeks from our market garden!
🧂 To season our kebabs and marinade our BBQ meats we have teamed up with the wonderful people at South Downs Seasoning Co. who make all their own natural and delicious seasonings! We couldn’t be more thrilled to have their locally made blends marinading our steaks, chops, kebabs and koftas!
🔥 Every week we will try to offer a mixed range of our BBQ options, and will also be cooking tasters for you to sample on Friday and Saturday mornings!
We are open 10am to 3pm Friday and Saturday, we cannot thank you enough for coming to support us and buying direct from your local farmers! It means the world, and it keeps us farming 🚜 speaking of which…better get up and move some cows 🐮😉
