Geordie Mac went over to Denmark 🇩🇰 last week! Any questions below on the topic 👇 but in summary it was all about being able to utilise giving the cows fresh grass rather than silage for those times they are indoors. A great example being with the recent drought the farm has land further away which we can’t physically get the cows to but we can bring extra grass to them!

Geordie Mac in Denmark this week having a look at one of the farms he visits on site milk vending. It’s not competition - as we don’t believe in competing with other farmers, we support all farmers and if customers are buying direct from farmers that’s what we are passionate about!

We had to do a re-edit as we must have added an effect and made us both have funny voices on the first edit 😆 down at the poly tunnel tunnel and veg garden with Steve take 2!

Important Update on Vending Machines - we have had what we thought was an isolated issue with our Vending Machines not agitating. An agitator is in each tank and mixes the milk regularly to ensure that the cream is mixed in otherwise it will settle to the top. When an agitator breaks this can mean some customers get extremes - either a lot of cream if they are the ones emptying the tank or what would feel like watery milk.
We had a customer review last week about watery milk from the farm and knew something wasn’t right- we don’t take anything out the milk. After investigation all the fuses for both our machines had blown which control the agitation. All resolved now (thank you to the person who left us a 1 star review as it was actually very helpful feedback!) anyway we have had an email about a similar issue at Hill End, we have been up there today and hopefully now resolved the issue. However this message is for our customers - if you visit the farm and Hill End we apologise if you have had any milk not to our usual standard but the above 👆🏻 is the cause and we have resolved this. One theory is we could have one dodgy tank which is going around blowing the fuses when installed as we use the tanks across multiple sites so we will be checking ALL our sites. Please please please email us if you ever have any super creamy or watery milk as it’s likely the tank isn’t mixing in the vending machine and it’s super important for us to fix this as it’s our hero/core product and we would hate to lose customers over something we can resolve.
