Inspired by the incredible feedback from our community, we set out to create a bread that is not only healthier, but also deeply connected to our roots and heritage.
As the name suggests, this loaf is crafted with organically grown, non-GMO Khorasan flour — an ancient grain originating from the historic Khorasan region of northern Iran.
Organic Khorasan wholemeal flour, often known as Kamut, is a highly nutritious ancient grain containing up to 40% more protein and significantly higher dietary fiber than modern wheat. It is valued for its potential cardiovascular, digestive, and metabolic benefits,
Khorasan is known for its beautiful golden color and naturally rich, buttery, nutty flavor. Through slow sourdough fermentation, these characteristics develop even further, creating a loaf with delicate fruity notes, a complex aroma, and a deeply satisfying taste.
