Last week was National Butchers Week and what a week it was for our Joe.
Joe was awarded Best Independent Retailer Meat Apprentice by the Institute of Meat and The Worshipful Company of Butchers.
This is such an impressive achievement!
Joe has become a great asset to the team and a customer favourite.
The team are extremely proud of Joe and look forward to where his journey takes him.

Last week was National Butchers Week and what a week it was for our Joe.
Joe was awarded Best Independent Retailer Meat Apprentice by the Institute of Meat and The Worshipful Company of Butchers.

‼️ After nearly 6 years of our high street shop being open we have made the tough decision to close the doors on the 27th February and concentrate solely on our butchers within swains farm shop, Henfield.

Our shop opening in swains has been a great success for us and we hope to still see all of your faces there, we appreciate every single one of you that has made our little business a sucsess over the years and may that continue.

We have absolutely loved being within the high street but don’t worry Emma and Gary will be continuing with us at Swains.

Thank you all for your continued support and we look forward to an exciting and successful 2026 💫

⭐️⭐️ We are so excited to introduce our new range of charcuteries from locally based Curing Rebels.
A company that specialises in high welfare, locally source meat with a small team they make all their products on site in hove !! All these products can be kept at an ambient temperature so will make the perfect stocking filler… who doesn’t like a gift of food!!⭐️⭐️

It’s game season !!!
We are so excited to have some new season game in the shop this week!!
Did you know venison is a truly free range product- it’s high in protein, low in fat, packed with antioxidants, iron and omega 3 plus the fact it’s super tasty!!
We also have some beautifully aged steaks and for our black garlic fans we have a new sausage roll 😁
