SARAH HERE!!

On the 27th of April this page will go dormant.
I am retiring from my butchery after 21 years in the shop since I was 12 years old!
I will miss all of you dearly, you’re not “just customers” but friends! - Thankyou for the years and years of laughs, love, & fun.
Onto pastures new.
Paul will still be around so make sure to keep him in check for me! 😉. - all my love Sarah ###x

Drum roll please 🙏 🥁 🥁 🥁

After 43 incredible years as Paul Lewis Butchers, the time has come to move on to pastures new. It’s been an amazing journey filled with early mornings, hard work, great laughs, loyal customers, and memories that will last a lifetime.
But don’t panic — Paul isn’t hanging up his apron (or his knives!) just yet. This is only a semi-retirement. He’ll be sticking around to manage the new business, because let’s be honest, he’s not quite ready to put his feet up full-time!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last 43 years — we truly couldn’t have done it without you.
Watch this space… the next chapter is just beginning!

Ending 2025 thinking about going into my 44th year on the high street as Paul Lewis Butchers, I started at Baxter’s butchers as a boy of 14 years, 53 years later and I’m still here, the high street has changed so much in my time, faces come and go, but the community never changes. We are so lucky to live in such a close nit community with the high street at the heart of it all. So I’d like to wish you all, old and new a very happy and healthy new year.
