The future of Taylor Meats.

That’s my son Tom. He works alongside us in the Ramsgate shop, so if you’ve been in, you’ve probably already met him.

I couldn’t be more proud of him. He’s just completed his apprenticeship, trained independently under some brilliant people, and he’s now a fully qualified member of the Meat Training Council.

I tell him he’s mad for wanting to make a career out of this. But then again, he’s been hanging around these shops since he was 7 years old so I probably shouldn’t be surprised.

Tom’s got big plans. Better offerings, levelling things up, pushing us further than we already are. And knowing him, he’ll do exactly that.

Closed today, but here’s a look at what’s waiting for you tomorrow. 👀

Every day that we’re open, what you see in that counter has been made fresh that morning. These chicken kievs? Homemade filling, proper breadcrumbs, made from scratch. No shortcuts, no day before prep.

If it’s in the counter, it’s been made that day. Simple as that.

You can grab one from a supermarket. We’re not going to stop you. But once you’ve tried ours, you’ll be coming back for them again.
